Foreign language is easy to forget when you do not use it.
I have the same problem. I go to Chechnya for 3 month every summer and I forget all my English there cause there is noone to talk it to((

Pretty girl, i'd like to ask you about your phrase building "Foreign language is easy to forget". Foreign language -it's the object, not the subject. And in English grammar we must build sentenses by a rule:
Subject-Predicate-Object-Attribute etc....
That's why we should build the phrase like this: It's easy to forget foreign language when you do not use it.

What do you think about it, Pretty?

PS: i would be thankfull to everyone who corrects my mistakes.

Justice, you are right. But we can build the same phrase and so: «Foreign language can easily forget if you don’t use it». The word-combination «foreign language» in this case will be already the subject, instead of object.

hmm...foreign language...in active voice? I guess we should use Passive voice in this case. For example "Foreign language can be easily forgotten if you don't use it". (A language can't do anything. it's neither a person nor an animal thats why we use Passive voice)
You can say it by using active voice as well "One can easily forget foreign language..."

I have to disagree.Pretty´s statement is grammatically correct.That´s a common way to form a sentence e.g books are easy to read,rules are hard to follow etc

Thinker, ive been tought to build sentenses by a different rule. Probably it's a speech pattern, isnt it? I cant remember for sure...remind me please.
